Napoleon declared himself the emperor of France and he decided to lead a bloody war against Europe. This created big problems for Freemasons. A long time war with Napoleon was risky for freemasons as it could easily result in their bankruptcy. Help came from a very much unlikely source. Naphen Roffcharles was the head of a leading banking family, and because of his status in Jews he was forced to work from the shadows of others. Roffcharles saw the opportunity to liberate his people and offered a loan demanding in return the recognition of Jews as equal to their European counterpart and the right to openly do business. If Masons refused, the money could always go to Napoleon. The Masons had no choice but to accept. This really was an important juncture in history of freemasons because Jews got involved in freemasons at this time and later they used their influence to mix Jewish aims with that of freemasons.


Again, the tide turned in favour of freemasons. The Masonic armies of Britain and Dutch went at war with Napoleon in 1815. Napoleon was defeated and freemasons took full control of France. Historians made a little mention of the involvement of freemasons in French revolutions but facts show that French revolution was actually engineered by freemasons. This meant that freemasons had to reveal their shadowy movements during this revolution. In 1904, Macray Dacomber, a freemason said in front of a packed audience,


“Freemasonry had worked in a constant but hidden manner to prepare the revolution. Then, incomplete agreement, freemasonry was the only author of the French revolution. and the applause which I received from left and to which I’m a little accustomed proves gentleman that you acknowledge with me that it was the freemasonry that made the French revolution.”
