To go along with the blurred lip trend I showed you, here is a pink makeup look that can be worn for Valentine’s or (if you’re single) Galentine’s Day. Pink always has the ability to soften people’s facial features and really make everything look romantic, as if it is under a filter. I’m using the Carli Bybel Palette for this look which is an old favorite of mine, especially at such an affordable price point. It’s a palette you’ll reach for over and over again on a daily basis.

The Carli Bybel Palette is a neutral lovers dream. It’s got a wonderful mix of mattes and shimmers, along with some highlight shades along the bottom. Here’s the look up close:

HOW TO GET THE LOOK:

1. Place Shade 1 into the socket of your eye and blend upward generously. Also apply this shade along your entire lower lash-line. This is a beautiful peachy-gold shade that reminds me so much of NARS “Orgasm.” I love how this looks when it’s brought up onto the brow bone slightly. It allows the light to hit your eyes and give you a filtered, candlelit effect.
2. Apply Shade 2 directly into the crease only to darken it up. We just want to add a little definition to the outer corners and the crease.
3. Wet a makeup brush and apply Shade 3 onto your eyelid and into the inner corners.
4. Finish the look off by applying Shade 4 to your brow-bone.

I used my It Cosmetics Superhero Liner to finish off the look. I cannot speak enough praises about this eyeliner. If you’re someone who struggles with eyeliner, this felt tip applicator has the ideal amount of stiffness and give to make it easy on you. It’s stiff enough to put down nice, dark, even color, but it’s also flexible enough to contour to the shape of your eyes.
