One SKY is an all-in-one subscription plan integrating several most sought-out features for more convenient and premium entertainment. Included in this package are fast internet, cable and video-on-demand services.

One SKY postpaid plans allows SKYbroadband high-speed internet access, SKYcable premium HD cable TV viewing, SKYmobi’s mobile internet for cable shows on the go connection, and enjoy SKY On-Demand’s live video streaming of movies and cable shows.

Combi Digital Media Services

One SKY’s launch marks SKY Cable’s venture into combined services so Filipino families can enjoy the wonders of the evolving digital media landscape. Being an ABS-CBN company, the introduction of One SKY by Sky Cable also harmonizes with the network’s transformation into an active digital company.

“Over the past 6 months, our broadband business has been very robust, growing by at least 40% versus last year. We also realized that most of our broadband subscribers also purchased cable at the same time indicating the interest for both connectivity and entertainment in one plan,” said SKY’s head for consumer products business, Claudia Suarez.

One SKY postpaid premium plans subscription are offered at P1,599 per month. It includes internet speeds from 8 to 64 Mbps, unlimited consumption, with matching powerful lineup cable TV channels like ABS-CBN HD, S+A HD, ANC HD, NBA PREMUIM HD, Cartoon Network HD, HBO HD, History HD and Disney Channel HD, just to name a few. For an additional mobile internet access via SKYmobi, P499 a month fee is added.

“As part of the total SKY experience, at least 20 linear cable channels can also be accessed in the home through any device using SKY On Demand. And out of the home, this same on-demand viewing experience can be enjoyed through SKYmobi. In addition to this, HBO GO is also accessible for free in the higher 32 and 64 Mbps One SKY plans to catch HBO favorites such as Game of Thrones, Veep, and Silicon Valley,” Suarez added.

SKYmobi to Access Cable TV

SKYmobi, which is SKY’s service for mobile internet, enables families to easily access cable TV shows whenever they want, wherever they are, via SKY On Demand. It’s a one of a kind online video service that allows viewing cable TV and live foreign channels on various gadgets for free. This is based on the SKY cable subscription.

There is also an option to improve the One SKY subscription plan by just adding channels individually. Channels can also be added in packs via SKY Select plus availing of pay-per-view offers monthly.

“SKY recognizes the changing habits of the Filipino family as well as their increasing reliance on internet connectivity for their daily activities. One SKY is a bundle that offers a seamless connected experience to families through only one subscription,” SKY Cable Chief Operating Officer March Ventosa said.

Meanwhile, families from far-flung areas in Cebu can also enjoy the best content through SKYdirect, which is SKY’s direct-to-home satellite pay TV service. Just like SKYcable, SKYdirect boasts of a mix of local and foreign cable channels like ABS-CBN HD, DZMM TeleRadyo, Myx, Knowledge Channel, and Tagalized Movie channel (TMC), to name a few.

Other Pertinent Infos on One SKY

One SKY Cebu is available from Consolacion to Naga. Other serviceable places are Mandaue, Lapu-lapu City, Minglanilla, Talisay and Naga. These places enjoy 50% coverage, but plans for expansion in 2017 are already in place.

Is SKYmobi separate from One SKY? SKYmobi is a separate service from One SKY, although SKYmobi users can access mobile internet if they are connected to the same OneSKY network.

Is there a promo that offers PLDT Fibr users to switch to SkyCable’s OneSky? There is no such offer as of the moment, but plans for encouraging the switch among users are in the pipeline.
