What is Broad Spectrum Sunscreen?
A Broad Spectrum Sunscreen protects against both UVA and UVB radiation. UVB sun rays cause burning (think the B in UVB.) UVA rays penetrate skin deeper and lead to aging. Hence, the A in UVA remind us of aging. So, to protect our skin, whether it’s summer or winter, wear a sunscreen with a minimum of SPF 15 or 30 when you plan extended time in the sun.
