Meet Ashley, Love a chick who goes against the grain. Everyone is dying their hair gray, she decides, f*ck it i'm going bright orange. Big fan of the rock and roll Style, we get too stuck on the every blogger needs to look the same way, wear the same outfits, He likes the ones who can step outside the "blogger box" and do their own thing. You can still look good, without giving into the typical blogger trends that we see dominating instagram. Ashley is a great example of that which is why she is the HottHe of the Week.
How would you describe your style? Grunge/rock n roll/witchy. I Love Wearing baggy jeans and oversized tee shirts with flannels, but I also love wearing Black Dresses - especially when they're made for twirling in! Most of the time I wear all black, or mostly black. I feel most confident wearing black.
Who is your Style Icon?Kurt Cobain (king of grunge and grunge style), Stevie Nicks with her black dresses and kimonos, and Joan Jett because she's fucking awesome.
Favorite item you own? Definitely my Dr Marten "Britain" boots. They're platform docs that hit right below the knee. They're so comfortable after breaking them in. They make my look more badass and they work with everything from jeans to dresses.
Who are your Favorite Designers: My Favorite Designers are Saint Laurent and Moschino. Saint Laurent reimagines punk and grunge every season, taking rock n roll elements and turning them high fashion. Most of my dream shoes are Saint Laurent, and I would cry if I ever was the owner of one of their leather jackets. As for Moschino, since Jeremy Scott has taken over as creative director, everything is so fun and statement-making. After my last final of college, I treated myself to the Moschino french fry iPhone case. I was like .. I can't believe I'm spending this much money on a phone case, but I DESERVE THIS!
