When it comes to sequins, I say go big or go home during the holidays. It’s one of the few times a year, except maybe my birthday or Halloween, that I like to do full on sparkle. In last week’s video, I incorporated a Sequin blazer into my holiday party outfit ideas. Today I wanted to talk about Sequin Tops.

If you have a statement sequin top, you can wear just about anything to a holiday party: jeans, leather pants, a mini skirt… you name it! I was drawn to the asymmetrical ruffles on this sequin bustier top. It gives the feeling of a dress, but you can wear it with pants, like I did with my coated black denim. Another thing I love about wearing pants to holiday parties? You can show off festive shoes! I call these pumps my Cinderella heels because I feel like a princess when I wear them. They’re sadly sold out but in case you want a pair of your own, I found these embellished clear pumps that are majorly on sale.

We took these photos at the new salon my hair colorist, Kim Vo, just opened in LA. I’m obsessed with the decor! The minty seating area when you walk in is just so cozy.
