Cardigans are having a major moment right now. The sweaters are no longer just for preppy types. There are so many ways to wear the fall Cardigan trend! I’ve been wearing my super soft white cardigan with a coordinating turtleneck over jeans. I’ve also been into cardigans with fun puff sleeves. Here is some more outfit inspiration…

1. cozy with a tee

For a casual look, I love a cozy cardigan over a tee with jeans. I used my purple cardigan to add a pop of color to denim and neutrals. I also love the way Ellenor of Spread Fashion made her edgier t-shirt and jeans combo a little more playful with a pom pom cardigan.

2. as a top

Cardigans can also be worn as tops. Christie of Christie Ferrari belted her longer cardigan to create long lean lines over flare pants. For sexier vibes, follow Annabelle of Viva Luxury‘s lead and leave the bottom buttons of a cropped cardigan unbutton. 

3. duster date night

A duster cardigan is a cozier alternative to a jacket for date night. I wear mine over camis, and let the cardigan fall over my shoulder for a slip of skin. You can throw on a pair of booties or dress up the look even more with heels like Amy of Fashion Jackson. 

4. dressed up

For an even dressier date night look, pair a longer cardigan with a mini dress, like Ashley of DTKAustin. Cardigan dresses are also really big right now. I like the way Shea of Peace Love Shea left the bottom buttons unbuttoned to show off her gorgeous boots. You can also completely unbutton a cardigan dress and wear it as a duster over jeans or pants!
