Where to Stay in Palm Springs for a Fab Girls Trip

After having a quasi meltdown about my birthday, my best friend Jessica surprised me with a last minute girls trip to Palm Spring. She truly is the most incredible person ever! We stayed at three different hotels in Palm Spring and each one was completely different. So I wanted to share in case you’re planning a trip to the desert…

retro glam

The first hotel was my favorite. La Serena Villas is a boutique hotel in Palm Springs. It has 18 guest rooms and is designed to perfection. We could not stop gushing about the decor the minute we walked in (hello non-stop Instagram moments!).

Our room had two bathtubs, one inside and one outside. It was beyond relaxing to have a soak with a glass of wine looking up at the desert sky. We also loved the breakfast in the room. It came in the cutest colorful basket and the staff was beyond accommodating.

La Serena Villas also has a delicious restaurant, Azucar. I highly recommend the fish tacos! You can eat by the pool, inside or upstairs on the patio depending on the weather. And just like the rest of the hotel, the restaurant is designed to perfection (more fab photo moments!).

I can’t say enough great things about La Serena Villas. Everyone was so sweet and we could have stayed for a whole week. I hope to go back soon!

Jessica and I were both super excited to stay at Korakia Penisone. I’ve been seeing the hotel on Instagram for years and have been dying to see it for myself. It is even more beautiful in person than on the ‘gram. The minute you walk in you feel like you’ve stepped out of Palm Springs and into Morocco. The space is covered in bougainvillea, lanterns and cozy fire pits.

Our favorite part about our stay was a yoga class we took one morning. The teacher was incredible and it took place outside on a private deck. The birds chirped as we did our downward dogs and we had a delicious breakfast afterward in the Moroccan courtyard.

eco luxe

We ended our trip at Two Bunch Palms, which is just outside Palm Springs in Desert Hot Springs. If you’re looking for a mini wellness retreat, this is your spot! You can’t help but feel relaxed the minute you step into the resort. They’re known for their natural hot mineral springs and they have classes throughout the day, from more traditional yoga to more meditative sound baths. The only downside to the hotel is there is no room service. But overall, it’s a wonderful place to recharge the body and mind.

I hope these mini reviews help you if you’re planning a trip to Palm Springs! To see more from our trip head over to my Palm Springs highlights on Insta Stories! And another huge thank you to Jessica for being the best friend ever! You can see more photos on her Instagram as well!
