There are some fashion trends that you try and wonder what you were thinking. Then there are other that you go in thinking you’ll hate the trend but end up becoming absolutely obsessed. I was the latter with the Naked Shoe Trend.

So what is the Naked Shoe trend? It’s essential plastic shoes. The clear material makes the foot look “naked.” I was originally nervous the trend would look too stripper. But it ended up making me feel more like Cinderella.

Since the summer shoe trend is continuing into fall, I ordered a few pairs online. I ending up keeping two: a plastic mule that works equally well with dresses as it does with denim. And a  lucite block heel (on sale!) that were so comfy I wore them all over NYC last week. Since there are so many options available right now, I included 16 instead of my normal Saturday Six.
