5 Novels that everyone should read! | Book recommendation - The A's Quirks

“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies.” – George R. R. Martin, A Dance with Dragons

Hello!

Are you a kinda person who loves reading? Or you are looking for Book recommendations? If yes, then you are at the right place.

It's been a while since I had posted my first post. Hope you have read that one. If you haven't gone through it yet, click here. Please follow me if you haven't.

Now, I'm back with another post in which I'm gonna share the top 5 books that will leave you obsessed with reading. And if you haven't read any novel before, #5 is the best to begin with.

Let's get going!

5 Novels that every fiction-lover must read.

#5 The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling

Harry Potter is a fantasy novel Series by J.K Rowling. Harry Potter, an orphan, finds that he is a wizard on his eleventh birthday. He attends Hogwarts, the school of witchcraft and wizardry and finds lifelong friends.

I read this book when I was in Grade 7th. The books were so amusing that every time I read any (I've read all of them 4 times) , it left me on the edge of the seat of hours. I didn't only read the books but I felt each and every word!

I would highly recommend someone who loves adventure to read this series.

#4 The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

Again, it is such a great book! The novel is about Katniss Everdeen, a teenage girl who was forced to fight other children in an arena. It's about the people of Panem, North America who were struggling for self - preservation and had to participate in the hunger games.

To be honest, this book is breath taking! It took me to a world which was new to me. Though, there is some violence in the novel but the story balances it well.

#3 The Host by Stephanie Meyer

I read this book a few months ago and I definitely recommend you to read it. It is a Sci-Fi novel by Stephanie Meyer. The book is about Earth, in a post-apocalyptic time, being invaded by a parasitic alien race known as "Souls".

The first couple of chapters may seem confusing but still make you wanna read more.

#2 The Shatter Me series by Tarehe Mafi

It's a story of a teen girl, Juliette Ferrars, who has never experienced a human touch. She finds herself in an asylum where she was left in complete isolation. Juliette has the power to kill someone with her touch. Her skin acts as a defense mechanism that can suck the life out of someone.

I have just started the first part. It's great! It's so good that I couldn't stop flipping the pages. (But I had to because it's my mid-term examinations these days.)

#1 The Divergent series by Veronica Roth

This is a sci-fi dystopian novel about a 16 year old girl, Beatrice. In Divergent, the society is divided into five factions namely:  Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the kind), Erudite (the intelligent), Abnegation (the selfless), and Candor (the honest).

To those who are dystopian fans, love sci-fi or just love to read in general this book is perfect. I literally couldn't put it down. This book is an all rounder. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry. It will make you smile!

I hope this list helps you!
