What do all the Olay creams do – and which is best for you?

There are dozens of Olay products and they all do different things. Here we explain the individual benefits of each and which skin type they’re best suited to – from mature to oily and more

If you grew up in the UK in the 1990s, chances are you or a relative were a keen Olay fan – or as it was known then, Oil of Olay.

This was largely due to the fact it was a relatively cheap skincare line which made accessing anti-ageing products affordable. Today. however, it’s a different story. Olay does still sell cheaper ranges, but it’s also become renowned for more high-end collections. Namely its Olay Regenerist, and Olay Retinol24 ranges.

A quick search on the Boots homepage for the term ‘Olay’ and you’re shown 90+ different results. To add to the confusion, there are standalone Olay Retinol24 products, as well as Retinol24 products that fall under the Olay Regenerist line. Not to mention eye creams, serums, and cleansers across the Regenerist, Total Effects, Complete, and more ranges.

To help cut through the confusion, we’ve explained what each range does and which skin types suit which products, and collections.
