How To Destress + Have Fun On Weekend

Worn out from the same old routine? Why not try and plan some fun Weekend activities?

It’s common for us to start being monotonous over a period. But it’s necessary to take a step back and de-stress. If you have fallen victim to such dull life, then consider these ideas mentioned in the post to de-stress and have fun on weekends.

Let’s get into the ideas!

1. Do Craft

Let your imagination take over your weekend. Take a paper and start drawing whatever your mind tells you to. Experiment a little with colors, too, and have fun. Or any craft! The beauty of crafting is that crafting is non-specific and can be anything that your heart desires! From the classics (knitting, quilting, sewing) to the more modern-day crafts (card making, resin, body scrubs, or macrame).

2. Spend time outside

One of the simplest and most fun things on weekends is going out for a walk or for a run It’s the perfect way to disconnect from the electronic world. Watch the sunrise or sunset With your busy schedule during the week, it can be tricky to set aside time to watch the sunrise or sunset. Make an event out of it with your loved ones and enjoy the sunrise or sunset. or check out the local community. Volunteer work or visit free museums. These are good options to keep you occupied in a fun way over the weekend.

3. Spend time with family 

Weekends are good for reconnecting with Family and friends. De-stress and have fun on weekends by spending more time with family. Host a movie night or  Try the traditional board games. Call your friends or family members to join you in classic chess games or snakes or ladder.

4. Read

There is no better way to enjoy your quiet time at home over the weekend. Pick up a novel you forgot to read since you were so busy and enjoy reading your book in a cozy corner.

5. Play games online!

Online games can be relaxing and stress relieving unless you don’t go overboard. To entertain yourself when you don’t have anyone to spend time with, playing online games is the best option.

Playing online games such as solitaire brings so much of my childhood memories when a computer was newly brought into my house. And nowadays websites like solitaire.org offers these games for free to play online. Seriously, no downloading and using your hard disk space problem and no ads problem while playing the games.

There are also various games available on solitaire.org like the Hidden object game. I loved the Hidden Hotel.

Also I love mind games and word games like word search and crossword. Crosswords are great for a mental boost and also help to strengthen the vocabulary. Isn’t this great? a productive way to pass the time and helps keep your mind active.

I tend to have fun playing Solitaire again, and Solitaire.org has other variations of Solitaire such as Pyramid, FreeCell, Spider, and Tripeaks. Along with Solitaire, they also have other card games like Blackjack, Poker, and Crazy Eights, hidden object games, and logic puzzles including Nonograms and Sudoku. All the games are free to play and there is no downloading needed.
