  • Further, select 'Hide extension for known file types.'

  • Select 'Apply' and then 'OK.'

  • Look for the QB .tlg file component from the list of extension files. 

  • Copy this .tlg file and paste it to the 'QBTest' folder.

  • When done, move to the company file location, look for the 'QuickBooksAutoDataRecovery,' and open it. 

  • Now, right-click on the '.QBW.adr' file and select ‘Copy. 

  • Move to the ‘QBTest’ folder and paste this file. 

  • In the 'QBTest' folder, right-click on the '.QBW.adr' file.

  • Select 'Rename' and delete .adr at the end of the file name. 

  • When done, open QuickBooks. 

  • Now, open the company file located in the 'QBTest' folder and verify if all the transactions are there.

  • Click the 'File' menu in QuickBooks and then 'Utilities.'

  • Further, select 'Verify Data' to check the integrity of the recovered file. 

  • If this copy of the company file is in a good state, replace the location of your original company file and transfer the copy from 'QBTest' to the original location.
