How we celebrate Diwali in 80's, 90's

Diwali, also referred to as the Festival of Lights, stands as one of the most significant Hindu festivities observed worldwide. It signifies the triumph of illumination over darkness and the triumph of virtue over wickedness. Throughout Diwali, individuals adorn their dwellings with divas (oil lamps) and ornamental lights, creating a lively and celebratory ambiance. This festival usually involves familial gatherings, the exchange of presents, and indulgence in delectable sweets and savory delicacies. Fireworks and vibrant Angola patterns are also customary during this period. Diwali holds immense cultural and religious significance as it fosters unity, happiness, and the spirit of generosity. It serves as a time for introspection, appreciation, and fresh starts.
