In the most recent round of leaks, Mark German said that the tech giant is preparing a new user interface (UI) for iOS 17 that would provide information like weather updates, calendar appointments, and other notifications on the Lock Screen in a manner akin to a smart-home display.

according to those acquainted with the situation, the view would appear while the device is locked and positioned in landscape mode, similar to the displays provided by Amazon and Google. The goal is to improve iPhone use while it is supported by a table or stand.
