Why Tulsi ?

Tulsi also know as Tulsa or Ocimum tenuiflorum also the Holy basil is a widely acknowledged herb in the family Lamiaceae. It is native to India and vastly grown in Southeast Asian region

Ayurveda has a special place for Tulsa, and it can be found in the home of Hindus in India. It is a sacred plant which Hindus worship in their home. Most common types include 

Ram Tulsa 

Krishna Tulsa 

Vana Tulsa. 

Many Hindu texts have mentioned the plant in different and various instances, such as the tale of Vrinda and her husband Jalandhar. Vrinda is a pious devotee of Vishnu who marries Jalandhar. Vrinda, being most loyal towards her husband and by the virtue of that, Jalandhar was made powerful and invincible by the gods. Narada a pious devotee of lord Vishnu described the beauty of parvati, after which Jalandhar demands Parvati from her husband Shiva, which became a reason for the battle between them. Jalandhar a master of illusionary arts, attempts to abduct Parvati in disguise of lord Shiva. After realizing his intentions, she gets towards lord Vishnu and demands to show the same fate to Vrinda.

Known to be “Queen of Herbs” Tulsa has proved to be highly efficient in protecting organs from various infections and diseases of the liver, skin, kidney, etc. It has many other health benefits that can help in keeping your blood pressure levels and cholesterol levels under control, that is highly influential for heart.
