Incidents of singers falling while performing ‘live’ are not uncommon. This is what happened to singer Aina Abdul when she performed the opening performance of Magic of the Night 2022 which was held at the Dataran Muara Sungai Melaka on Friday night.

Aina or her real name, Nurul Aina Abdul Gani, 29, fell down the stairs in the middle of her performance.

However, Aina’s acting professional remained standing while being assisted by the dancers before continuing her performance.

Through her Instagram page, Aina said that although it wasn’t something to be proud of, she still laughed whenever she thought about it.

“Alhamdulillah, yesterday went smoothly on the first day of Magic of the Night, Melaka River.

“Although the experience of falling on stage isn’t something to be proud of, it’s something that makes Aina laugh every time I think about it and it’s a good laugh, not a shy laugh.

“Thank you dancers for welcoming Aina right away! Otherwise, it’s true that Aina will still sing while sitting or barefoot,” he wrote.

Aina also gave the latest news about the condition of her feet.

“For anyone who asked how Aina’s legs were yesterday. Everything is fine, Alhamdulillah.

“Thank you for caring, dear everyone,” wrote Aina.

Famous national singers such as Misha Omar, Jaclyn Victor and Nabila Razali have also experienced falling on stage.
