Dhanush has a new Movie called Vaathi coming out soon, a straightforward drama about a teacher and his romance with a colleague. The villain is someone who sees education as a business, and the movie has a social message about the corruption and privatization of education. The director of the film, Venky Atluri, is known for romantic dramas but is coming out of his comfort zone with Vaathi. The movie stars Samyuktha, Samuthirakani, Tanikella Barani, and P Sai Kumar, and has music by GV Prakash. Dhanush is promoting the movie in a low-key way, as he did with his previous successful movie, Thiruchitrambalam.

Vaathi (2023) Movie Release Date
The movie was supposed to come out in cinemas on December 2, 2022, in Tamil and Telugu languages, but it was delayed. Now, it will be released on February 17, 2023. Seven Screen Studio will be showing it in Tamil Nadu. At first, people thought Aha Tamil would have the right to stream the movie, but it turns out Netflix does. Sun TV has the right to air it on TV.
