Kyline seemingly called out Mariel in the comments section
Is Kyline Alcantara in tension with fellow Sparkle artist Mariel Pamintuan?
In a TikTok video uploaded on September 26, Mariel shared about her distasteful experience with some renowned artists—some of whom she claims are bullies.

Mariel cites one particular taping moment wherein she had to do a slapping scene with an unnamed artist.
Prior to the scene, she was asked by the producer to slap the actress moderately. However, despite following the instructions, she revealed that the star hit her back a bit harder than expected.
As she puts it, “Yung bida talaga, G na G sa akin. Yung tainga ko, nayanig! Yung kaluluwa ko naiwan dun sa set!
“Nagpalit na ng set-up. ‘Cut!’ Nandun pa rin yung body and soul ko. Naiwan dun. Naiwan siya, na-shookt. Ganon.”
Mariel adds in the comment section, “p.s. Ni-reshoot yung sampalan scene, medyo nakaganti naman ako kahit paano.”
While Mariel chose to keep her story as a blind item, her fellow Sparkle talent Kyline allegedly reacted in a relatively feisty manner. She responds (published as is): “Bakit di nyo po minention pangalan ko, madam mariel?”
The exchange was cut short, with Mariel just liking Kyline’s comment.
The comment has since been deleted but netizens were able to keep a screenshot.

Entertainment site PEP.ph asked Mariel who she was referring to. However, she chose to remain mum on the issue and said, “no comment.”
The TikTok video had raked in further speculations, with some users retrieving an old video of Mariel and Kyline’s sampalan video on the set of GMA-7’s limited series “Luv Is: Love at First Read,” which was aired in July 2023.

Mariel Pamintuan shares thoughts on being a “starlet”
In the video, Mariel has also talked about the unfair treatment exercised between established artists and starlets.
She says, “’Pag may K ka na, ‘pag nagkamali ka, hindi ka masyadong ookrayin. Kunyari, ‘Cut! It’s okay. It’s okay. Again. Take two. Action!’ Ganon lang.”
“Tapos ‘pag starlet ka lang, tapos hindi ka naman major role, pamparami lang, ‘pag nagkamali ka, yari ka. Huwag kang magkakamali. Ookrayin ka,” Mariel adds.
According to Mariel, the supporting cast who make mistakes will be met with, “Ay, tatanga-tanga, ah. Ay, anong oras na, ah. Parang ‘di pa gising ang diwa. Ano ba yan. Paulit-ulit na, ah.”
Coming as another revelation from her are the talents that intimidate her. However, she claims to be the bigger person and has not engaged anymore since, as she said, “Gagawan ka pa ng kuwento. So, hindi ako nagsusumbong. Bahala ka diyan.”
