Donny and Belle sing “Kumukutikutitap” with other local celebrities!
Netflix Philippines has unwrapped its first-ever Christmas station ID, with Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano taking the lead for the star-studded holiday promotion of the streaming platform.
Christmas has seeped into the streets of “Barangay Netflix,” as the streaming app brings some Filipino celebrities together in one jolly caroling.
Unveiled on September 19, Netflix’s official Christmas ID features the sensational DonBelle singing the iconic Pinoy Christmas hit “Kumukutikutitap.”
Donny and Belle’s upcoming “Can’t Buy Me Love” series will premiere on Netflix on October 13, aside from its scheduled debut on ABS-CBN primetime block.
The new generation love team has announced this on Friday, September 15, 2023.
In the station ID, the tandem is joined by other banner artists of Netflix’s current and upcoming shows.
It includes Miles Ocampo, Kelvin Miranda, and Chie Filomeno of ANIMA Studio’s hit film “Missed Connections.”
Also having their respective appearances are Zanjoe Marudo and Elijah Canlas of “Keys to the Heart,” Piolo Pascual, Alessandra de Rossi, and Sam Milby of “Replacing Chef Chico,” JM de Guzman of “What If,” and Lovi Poe and Carlo Aquino of “Seasons.”
Easter eggs made Netflix’s roster of shows more exciting, including “Keys to the Heart” lead star Dolly De Leon teased through a vinyl record.
DonBelle takes fresh characters on “Can’t Buy Me Love”
The Mae Cruz Alviar-helmed series will package Donny and Belle in a new portrayal as Bingo and Caroline—lovers who, according to teasers, are from two different socio-economic backgrounds.

The series will arrive on Netflix four days before it is made available on free television.
“Can’t Buy Me Love” is Donny and Belle’s latest feat in the entertainment industry, following the well-received romantic-comedy film “An Inconvenient Love” of Star Cinema.
DonBelle had their first pairing in 2021 for IWantTFC limited series “He’s Into Her.” It was then followed by an equally loved digital series “An Inconvenient Love” under the direction of Petersen Vargas.
