Andrei Trazona, SexBomb Izzy Trazona‘s son with Michael Arapeles, has also shown a penchant for performance as he entered the local Drag scene as Sofia.
The 21-year-old performer has joined the world of drag as a “SexBomb legacy,” which alludes to his mother’s background as a former member of the early 2000s all-female dance group SexBomb Girls.

Andrei introduced his other persona on Instagram in December 2022, in which he calls himself the “newest baby girl” of drag.
In the post, Andrei extended his gratitude to some people in the industry, including “Drag Race Philippines Season 2” alumna Mathilduh who she calls as his drag mother.

Andrei then debuted his “twin” in a local drag competition “Bunganga Battle Royal” hosted by Drag Race Philippines Season 1 graduate Viñas Deluxe.
In an introductory video uploaded for the competition, Andrei brands Sofia as a very positive figure.
For him, while there could be a lot of drag queens way thinner and sexier than Sofia in reality, she still believes in his fantasy that “Siya ang pinaka-sexy of them all.”

Is SexBomb Izzy a supportive mother?
In the same interview, Andrei cites his mother Izzy as his biggest supporter.
He says, “Surprisingly, super supportive niya when it comes to my craft.
“Kasi nga nakita niya din na super nag-e-enjoy ako lalo na yung bumibili ako ng mga gamit.”
Andrei even fondly recalls that one time his mother pointed out his massive collection of wigs, which he simply dismissed with “kailangan iba-iba yung kulay” when Izzy suggested using only one.
And with Izzy’s openness with her son’s interest, Andrei says that there was not a time he felt being judged by his mother “kahit ano pa mang pagpapa-sexy ko at ano, pagpapa-show off ko ng skin.”

In an IG post uploaded on Monday, September 9, Izzy has penned a lengthy message for Andrei, which also includes longings of a mother.
It begins with, “I miss you Drei, you’re always in my prayer…everyday. I love you so much. And that will never be changed.”
In the succeeding paragraphs, Izzy has hinted at a “disagreement,” which she might have with Andrei, but she emphasized that her decisions were only for the good of her kids.
Wrapping the post, she writes: “Andrei anak, I love you so much to not support you on things that will harm you. I am always here for you…your mama, mahal na mahal kita.”

Izzy’s post has received varying opinions from the internet, with some netizens raising a brow at how she outlined her message.
Amid the growing controversy, Andrei then took his sentiments to social media in an outright confirmation of a feud with his mother.
According to him, everything that he said in the interview was a lie—Izzy does not support her drag journey nor she supports him for his queerness.

As he puts it, he lied “to protect her from any backlash” but now that his mother has hinted at her disapproval over her son’s craft, he said that “there’s no point in protecting her [anymore] because the truth came out straight from her.”
Andrei continues, “As much as I love you, you know that I don’t wanna live in a lie. I’m sustaining myself for years now and I am living responsibly honest.
“I’m tired of this conversation about me being gay and doing drag. I wanna end this argument by saying that I wanna live my own truth and someday you will be proud of what I will become.
“I love you so much mom but this isn’t healthy for me anymore. I hope someday you will understand how it feels to be in my shoes. I miss you but you’re not bringing me any comfort and compassion I deserve.”
In a succeeding Facebook post, Andrei then left some words to ponder. It reads: “It’s like saying I love you because you’re my son but I don’t accept you for who you are.”
His father, on the other hand, has shown him his all-out support. Michael Arapeles, who goes by the name of Michael Navarro on Facebook, has published on August 20 a video of Andrei in his drag persona.
The caption reads: “Dalaga na ang anak ko pwede ng ilaban sa Miss Gay International hahahahaha.. sinung pupusta?”
Andrei then commented with, “Alabyu papa,” which was then reverted by Michael with, “Ako na mag manager sayo.”
