The most-star-studded event in ABS-CBN, called the ABS-CBN Ball, is finally coming this year. 

A teaser for the much-awaited event was released on ABS-CBN’s official social media accounts on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

While the post has not yet revealed a date or a venue, fans and Kapamilya network supporters were nevertheless thrilled with the post. 

So much so that it landed among the top trending topics on Twitter with fans populating the hashtag #ABSCBNBall2023 with tweets of anticipation.

The same eager fans gamely posted about the artists that they are hoping to see all glammed up on the red carpet. 

Fans are also looking forward to see if there are GMA-7 artists who will attend the ABS-CBN Ball, same as how Kapamilya artists such as Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, and Joshua Garcia, went to the recently concluded GMA Gala 2023.

Aside from gathering the biggest and brightest ABS-CBN talents, the one-night-only event serves as a great pause for these personalities to mingle, celebrate, and grace the event with the grandest ensembles.

The ABS-CBN Ball was supposed to return on October 2, 2022, last year but was canceled for unknown reasons.

First held in 2006, the ball was originally called the Star Magic Ball, named after the network’s own talent agency.

Over the years, the annual celebration and charity event evolved into the more encompassing ABS-CBN Ball which started in 2018. This has paved the way for the event to include Kapamilya artists from other management groups.
