Maraming-maraming salamat for giving us a venue to continue our journey in making the Madlang Pipol happy and keeping their noontime habit in their homes,” she says.

“On this day, I can say na G! na G! na po talaga kaming lahat as we celebrate this remarkable day of a Kapamilyang Kapuso. Maraming-maraming salamat po sa inyo,” she adds.

Anne’s participation in the historic agreement put her under nostalgia, as she shares with GMA Integrated News her excitement “to see familiar faces again.”

More so, Anne emphasized that she has not lost contact with the big bosses of GMA-7. “I still did a film with GMA because I’m with VIVA. I’m still able to do projects with GMA naman. So, it’s kind of like a coming home,” she shares.

Before Anne’s iconic “Dyosa” role in ABS-CBN and her multiple projects as a full-pledged Kapamilya, the actress first appeared in GMA-7 shows such as “T.G.I.S.,” “Anna Karenina,” and “Nuts Entertainment.”

While she left GMA-7 in 2004, Anne remained working with GMA-7 stars for her films in VIVA, including 2018’s “Sid & Aya: Not a Love Story,” where she played as Dingdong Dantes’ love interest. Similarly, she headlined “Bakit Lahat ng Gwapo May Boyfriend?” in 2016 with Paolo Ballesteros, Dennis Trillo, and Yam Concepcion.

Ogie Alcasid is excited to see his GMA-7 bosses

Just as much, singer-host Ogie Alcasid is also one elated Kapuso returnee, as he opted out of his overseas trip just to witness the contract signing.

“Real talk lang po, true story, I was not supposed to be here today because we have a concert in Qatar with my wife. She flew ahead of me and I rebooked for tomorrow, but I really wanted to be here today for many reasons,” says Ogie.

He says that his presence was from his desire to see his former bosses for it feels so refreshing to be with them. On top of that, Ogie has offered some fond words to everyone who opened their doors for “It’s Showtime.”

“I think, I believe that more because talagang maliit ang mundo natin sapagkat may mga taong malalaki ang mga puso tulad po ninyo na nag-welcome po sa amin. Sa atin pong mga Kapuso, maraming salamat sa pag-welcome sa aming mga Kapamilya. God bless us all, thank you very much,” he states.

Ogie has headlined several iconic shows, appearing mainly in “S.O.P.,” “Bubble Gang,” and the teleserye “Hanggang Kailan,” among many others.

Vice Ganda airs words of appreciation

Vice Ganda, who had his first TV appearance in GMA-7 as a singing contestant in “Eat Bulaga,” also expressed his appreciation to the network.

Noong binalita sa amin, siyempre, emosyunal kaming lahat kasi nasa kalagitnaan ng lungkot, ‘di ba? ‘Yung parang nawalan ka ng tirahan, ‘tapos biglang may kukupkop na naman sa ’yo, we feel so special and we’re very grateful to GTV,” Vice shares as he reminisced the recent transition of “It’s Showtime” from TV5 to GTV.

Vice has also had a fair share of TV projects with GMA-7, including his first teleserye “Saang Sulok ng Langit,” and his debut comedy show “Comedy Central Market.”

On Wednesday, June 28, ABS-CBN and GTV have officially inked a contract agreement substantiating “It’s Showtime’s” regular airing on GTV’s noontime slot starting July 1, 2023.

“It’s Showtime” has aired its last episode with TV5 today, June 30 after being booted out of its noontime slot for a new show bannered by former “Eat Bulaga!” hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon.

ABS-CBN made the decision to switch networks following TV5’s proposal of airing the show for a 4:30 p.m. timeslot with a delayed telecast of the episode.
