Hong Kong recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of its establishment as a Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China. The theme of their celebration was “A New Era—Stability, Prosperity, and Opportunity.” It captured the spirit of Hong Kong’s milestones, remaining congruent with its desire to stay as a country with two systems.
Members of the press were invited to an event at the Grand Hyatt Manila last October 12, where they unveiled some of their plans for tourism. They also showed off what Hong Kong has to offer via an exhibit at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay, which ran from October 14 to 16. While it has been a favorite tourist spot for quite some time, here are some things that might entice you to visit the wonderful land of Hong Kong.
