Ratings of Liverpool players like Salah and others are excellent after difficult start

Liverpool player ratings and scores following their 3-1 Premier League win over Wolves

Andrew Robertson (R) celebrates his second goal with #11 Mohamed Salah (L) during the English Premier League football match between Wolver hampton Wanderers and Liverpool Alisson Becker 7I couldn’t fend off Hwang’s attempt, but there wasn’t much else to do as the game progressed.

Good possession of the ball with the feet.

Joe Gomez 6 In the hybrid right-back role, a lot is demanded of him and he is repeatedly out witted by the wily Neto.

Better when Liverpool changed formation.

Joel Matip 5He was beaten too easily by Neto in the first half and didn’t look convincing in possession or defense in the first half, but at least improved after that.

Jarell Quansah8He defended on the front line and did not expect to set an example for his older colleagues. Very encouraging. Submerged.

Andy Robertson7 He struggled early on on the left flank and didn’t get much support from those in front of him, but like many teammates the second half was a different story, not least his brilliant goal.

Alexis Mac Allister 3 Absolute shock of a first half in which the Argentine took possession of the ball with worrying regularity and appeared very slow and tired. Reserve.

Dominik Szoboszlai 8He gave the ball away too often early on, but in the second half he brought some much-needed aggression and determination to Liverpool’s play in midfield.

Taking responsibility again when things weren’t going well.Curtis Jones 6He struggled to make a significant impact before moving into the middle of a 4-4-2 system, where he improved significantly. Reserve.

Mohammed Salah 8He didn’t get much from Ait-Nouri’s first half, but he’s certainly not Liverpool’s worst player.

In the second half, three nice assists arrived which underlined his value.

Cody Gakpo 5Dropping so low in the first half in search of the ball, it was a surprise not to see him alongside Alisson.

A shot went hopelessly wide, but the last action before he was replaced was to touch the leveller.

Diogo Jota 5He conceded half a chance, but otherwise his most notable contribution in the first half was mocked by his former fans. Some tenacious play helped tie the game, but it wasn’t his best day.

Over whel med. Luis Diaz (for Mac Allister 46) 7The early contribution put Liverpool in the lead and they continued to clash with the Wolves defense.

Harvey Elliott (for Jota 56) 7He once again shaped the game with an energetic and creative performance that led to the decisive goal. Reserved for his celebration.

Darwin Nunez (for Gakpo 56) 7Immediate threat from both center and left wing, with a shot blocked and involved in the third. Constant threat.

Ibrahima Konate (for Quansah 82)It’s great to see him in action again.
