Creative Easter Decorating Ideas That Will Wow Your Guests

If you are looking to host a memorable Easter celebration, the right decorations will create an over-the-top aesthetic. Here are some creative ideas you can try out this year. 

An Easter Egg Table Setting

Here’s a fun one. When setting the table, place a decorated egg on everyone’s plate with a bunny face drawn on it. Tie a cloth napkin around it for a bunny ear effect. It decorates the table, serves as a napkin holder and your guests will be able to take the egg home with them as a souvenir. (Note, a fake egg will be better than a real one in this instance).

Create a Unique Bouquet

Florals and Easter go hand in hand. But you can set your decorations apart by creating a unique bouquet. Incorporate wispy stems of spirea, garlic blossom, spires, nigella and more for a boho chic aesthetic that has an earthy, natural appeal. 

Create Nests

Want a unique way to display your eggs? Why not put them in a nest? To make the look stand out, get a shallow basket, and cover it in wool. Add speckled eggs decorated with a gold leaf pen for an eye-catching metallic look. You can even have a fake bird standing guard over your creation.

Wreaths are another item that’s commonly associated with Christmas but can work well for Easter as well. To get the look, add Easter decorations to your wreath such as eggs and florals. It can be hung on a door or wall to brighten up the look of your home.

Another idea is to put miniature Easter candies into a small cup. Then set them on a table on top of a floral cut out resembling a daffodil. These make terrific dessert and buffet table settings. 

Decorated Egg Weight

If you are hosting an outdoor party and need something to keep your tablecloth weighted down, a decorated egg weight is the perfect thing. Simply take a plastic egg that comes apart and fill it with something that adds weight. Attach it to a ribbon with hot glue and tie it to the tablecloth.
