Recently, Netflix has released many new and exciting Movie for us to watch. On May 1st and on May 8th, Netflix released various films on different genres from Den of Thieves to Dangerous Lies. Including these two, the following are the top movies that you can watch this week on Netflix.
1.”Den of Thieves” (2018)
With a rating of 7 out of 10 in iMDb, the movie is a heist action one directed by Christian Gudegast starring Gerard Butler, Pablo Schreiber, O’Shea Jackson Jr. ,Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.
An elite group of LA sheriff’s department investigates a plan by a crew to rob the Los Angeles Federal Reserve Bank. Perfect crime thriller film if you love the genre.
2.”Arctic Dogs” (2019)
The animated movie also known as Arctic Justice or Polar Squad released in 2019 and now is available on Netflix.
Directed by Aaron Woodley and co-directed by Dimos Vrysellas, the movie is about fox discovering a horrible plan by Otto Von Walrus to drill beneath the Arctic surface to release gas which is enough to melt all the ice. A group the fox’s friend help him to stop this.
3. “Murder to Mercy: The Cyntoia Brown Story”
Cyntoia Brown, after being sentenced to life in prison thinks about her life and her past. This is a true crime documentary of a girl who killed a man and was given life time in prison.
4. “The Willoughbys” (2020)
Four siblings go on their own adventure with their nanny after being neglected by their selfish parents. The animated movie is 1 and a half-hour long with prominent dark themes softened by some humor.
The Willoughbys proved to be one of the best-animated movies with a whimsical story.
5. “Extraction” (2020 — Netflix original)
The movie Extraction has been in the top 10 for the past one week in many countries including the US and India. directed by Sam Hargrave, Chris Hemsworth plays as a mercenary who is set on a deadly mission to rescue the son of an international criminal.
6. “All Day and a Night” (2020 — Netflix original)
All Day and a Night is a story that makes you feel sympathetic towards the criminal.
The father-son crime drama revolves around a man, Jakhor (Ashton Sanders) who kills the parents of a young child and as the story proceeds, we see three timelines of him and his actions that brought him to this situation.
7. Dangerous Lies (2020):
Dangerous Lies stars Riverdale fame, Camila Mendes, as a caregiver who is stuck in a situation of mystery and murder. The movie is must-watch suspense by Michael Scott
