The launch of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord through the early access platform, Steam Early Access, has managed to reach record numbers. Beating Steam sales over games like DOOM Eternal or Resident Evil 3 Remake, the title of Taleworlds Interactive is good news for the company.
Many years you are waiting for a sequel that has become a much-improved version of its original concept, Mount & Blade: Warband. Anyone in the early access phase has not deterred the modder community.

Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord has become one of the phenomena of Steam, having managed to rank among the most played games and having set record records after its release.
Now, from Taleworlds warn that talking about the launch is something that is not yet in their plans, pointing out that the definitive version could be made to wait until 2021.
The game is exceptionally coarse in its functions, has managed to offer a much-improved version of what War band was. Still, it seems that even in this current state, there are ambitious plans for the future to bring to life a medieval experience like few have been offered.
And with that, the final release of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord is something that seems quite far away. A long road that will allow us to include new functions, improve certain aspects, and who knows if we can support the development of the version that would reach the next generation consoles.
It is one of their goals, but they have already confirmed that it is not their priority and that they focus on the PC version.
