Halloween Decorations and Props: We have gone all out this year

Halloween is so close. I can almost taste the candy. LOL If you have read any of my other posts this month. You would know how much of a nut Mike, my fiance, is for Halloween. I mentioned it in my Halloween Tag. He doesn’t like most holidays, but Halloween is his jam. We have gone all out this year with our Halloween decorations and props.

As I have talked about before… The last 2 places we lived didn’t really have children who would trick or treat. Mike loves to decorate and with what little money we had… We did the best we could. Since moving to Tampa we have upped our game a little bit last year. We didn’t know what to expect.

Our neighbors told us that it should be slow due to covid. So I made little bags of candies with a glow stick. I made 75 of them. Within 45 minutes we were out. We had to do a mid-candy run. It was a little hectic, but we had so much fun.

Last year

I want to show you a comparison of what our house looked like last year compared to this year.

It was a little plain, but still, we had a really fun night. Many trick or treaters thought Mike was animatronic and scared a lot of people.

We have a video of him not intentionally scaring this little boy. YOu can’t see it happening but you can hear the audio of the little boy telling Mike to stop. He yelled at Mike saying “you’re not my friend no more”. It was the cutest thing ever.

This year

This year we have been buying Halloween decorations and building props. We have stepped up our game. I am going to show you pictures of what we have done so far and what we still need to do.

We built this werewolf with some PVC, pool noodles, and string. LOL
That little black, purple, orange, green, and white blob on the ground is the picture below.
5.98 at Goodwill. Sweet Score!
That Solar powered light is from Amazon. It changes all different colors. You can mix or match colors. Great for lighting up your house for Halloween and Christmas.
We built this Reaper also out of PVC, pool noodles, and string.
On the cinder block in the back is where we will put our fog machine.
I tried to make Zero look like he was floating in the graveyard.
We have strobe lights to go in the pumpkin on Halloween night.
I have Jack on display like “Welcome to Halloween Town”

The from my porch

I love the view from my porch.

At night

We still have strobe lights to put out and the fog machine. Plus a few extras.

I hope you guys enjoyed the little tour of my Halloween decorations and props. It is only going to get bigger and better from here. Mike’s goal is to have his own walk-through haunted house. Check out my Instagram or Tiktok for Halloween night updates!

Have you decorated for Halloween? What are your favorite decorations?

Until tomorrow, Have a great day! Remember you are a badass!
