Since Halloween is coming up soon.. in 13 days, but who is actually counting? Me… I am. I am so stoked for Halloween this year and to show off my Halloween costume. Most Halloween nights I had to work, but I have a few pictures of when I did go out. Let’s take a trip down memory lane and look at my Halloween Costumes over the years. There have been some highs and some lows.
1990
I was probably about 5 here for it was 1990. Barbie was my favorite of course! I loved that costume! The mask was too big for my face and kept falling off but it was worth it.
2010
I was a sexy (?) Zombie… But that rotting skin and skull showing was badass. My first time doing special effects makeup. It was just toiler paper, Elmers glue a piece of clear plastic painted white and some cheap Halloween makeup.
2011
Turned my old wedding dress (long story) into a burlesque dress and went as a broken doll for Halloween.
Our 2012 Halloween Costumes
Tried my hand t more special effect makeup. I wanted to expose my “teeth” and I did the exposed protruding brain and rotting wound on Mike. This was so much fun and I was really proud of myself and my creativity.
Our 2015 Halloween Costumes
A last-minute work costume turned into a Halloween night costume. I went as Mary Poppins and Mike painted his face like an ICP clown.
2016
I had to work. LOL Meow! I had to wear something that wouldn’t interfere with my headset at work.
Our 2020 Halloween Costumes
I worked the next 3 Halloween nights, but 2020 was last minute for me and I went as Wednesday Addams. Mike went as a Grimm reaper of sorts… LOL
Our 2021 Halloween Costumes
This year I am hand-sewing a Winifred Sanderson costume and Mike is going as Jason Voorhees from Part 4. His favorite movie! Hocus Pocus is MY favorite Halloween movie so I am living out my lifelong dream to be an evil witch! LOL
