We are celebrating 10 Years! WOW! I haven’t been on Board that long, but I am grateful to be on board now. My thankfuls are all about our vacation. We finally made it to Charleston SC and had a great time. You can see the highlights here, but I will add:

We went dolphin spotting and saw about 16 dolphins on the cruise. Captain Skip was awesome We were out for about 1 1/2 hours and experienced high speed crusing and idling for dolphins. As well, Skip educated us on sealife. We all learned quite a bit. How do animals get on islands? There’s you trivia quiz for today!

Daughter posed at Buc-cee’s and WOW was that a place! Great place to stop on your way in and out of SC. There was all kinds of tasty southern classics with twists. And of course we had to stop at the bookstores. We made it to three, but one I did not get photos because we were in a hurry due to parking challenges.

Charleston still has that old town charm, complete with historical homes and simply older homes with character. If those walls could talk… I am still processin so much about this trip. This was the first trip outside of North Carolina that we have taken as a family. We hope to have other adventures as time and budgets allow. We will treasure this one forever.
