7 Netflix Series to Watch if You’re Crazy about Adventure

Do you love adventure and binge-watching? If you’re itching for a thrill but are trapped at home, check out this Netflix selection of excellent adventure movies and binge-worthy adventure TV episodes.

1. Vikings

The historical drama television Series shed light on the exploits of the legendary Viking chieftain Ragnar Lothbrok and his band. The fierce warrior embodies the Norse traditions of devotion towards gods.  

The show is packed with surprises, thrill, and adventure. It portrays Ragnar as a farmer who becomes famous by raiding England. He later becomes a Scandinavian kind, thanks to the support of his fellow warriors and family.

In the later seasons, the series follows his son’s fortunes and adventures in Scandinavian, England, Kievan Rus’, North America, and the Mediterranean.

2. Narcos

Being one of the finest crime drama TV series, no wonder Narcos tops our list of adventurous shows! It is based on the story of drug dealer Pablo Escobar and how he turned into a billionaire through cocaine distribution. 

Viewers will be able to cherish the synergy and dealings of Pablo with the drug mafias, antagonism, and DEA agents. In Season 3, the series witnesses Pablo soaring from the downfall. One can see the series being more interesting as the DEA decides to close the renowned Cali Cartel. If you’re looking for the perfect work-life balance, this can be a great Netflix series to start with.

3. Walking Dead

Walking Dead is a post-apocalyptic horror series adapted from a comic book with the same name. In the series, an extensive group combats a zombie apocalypse and struggles to survive as the living dead spreads all over. These zombies are nick-named walkers.

Besides, the group has to tackle other groups and communities of survivors with their personal laws and regulations. All these principles sometimes resulted in aggressive disputes between the communities.   

The Walking Dead has an enormous following of the young population. It has also been highly appreciated with positive reviews by critics. 

4. Money Heist

Money Heist is a Spanish Crime Drama Series made by Alex Pina. It features a professor and his two canny heists headed by him. While one heist covers the Royal Mint of Spain, the other focuses on the Bank of Spain. All this information is delivered by a robber named Tokyo.

The entire series is narrated in a realistic manner with endless twists, turns, flashbacks, and hidden characters. What makes the series even more interesting, a fickle narrator! Watch the series for more intriguing plots. 

5. Peaky Blinders

Created by Steven Knight and set in Birmingham, England, Peaky Blinders is a British crime drama series. It is focused on the Britain of 1919 after the great war. The country is seen to be soaked up with distress and self-indulgence as a repercussion of the war.

As the nation embraces economic disruptions, soldiers and criminal gangs struggle to survive. Speaking of gangs, Peaky blinders, run by Thomas Shebly and his family, count as the most powerful gang of all. 

However, things are not just limited to running the street for Thomas. With the desire to do something bigger, he decides to progress when a crate of guns goes missing. But then there is Inspector Chester Campbell, who pledges to make Britain crime-free. Who will win? Watch the series to know more.

6. The Umbrella Academy

The Umbrella Academy is a superhero series adapted from a comic book with the same name. It features a story of a billionaire who coaches seven kids with superpowers.

In a series of unfortunate incidents, the billionaire passes away. The alienated siblings patch up to unravel the secret of the billionaire’s death. Meanwhile, they combat two assassins, who are after the youngest member of all. That’s because he has triumphed the time-traveling skills. On top of that, they have an apocalypse to deal with. Watching these movies can help you stay mentally fit at home.

7. You vs. Wild 

You vs. Wild is an interactive series that features the British adventurer Bear Grylls and his take on consummating missions. It focuses on coming up with appropriate resolutions to help the adventurer in combating the harsh environment. In the series, you will watch him interacting with the camera and asking viewers about the relevant decisions.

The first series was released on April 10, 2019. However, it returned with a new movie this year called “Animals on the Loose: A You vs. Wild Movie” on Netflix. In September 2021, the series also featured a special release called You Vs. Wild: Out Cold.
