The Most Refreshing Mojito Recipe you can’t Resist in the Summers

Mojitos are refreshing and delicious drinks that you enjoy in the summers and love to have while relaxing next to the barbeque. It is a versatile cocktail that you can serve traditionally by adding different ingredients.

It is one of the unusual drinks in which you can add various fruit flavors like lemon, watermelon, etc. Thus, you can transform a classic mojito into an exciting cocktail by adding different ingredients.

There are different flavored mojitos that are not overwhelming and give a perfect balance of ingredients. The below are some mojito recipes that you can not resist in the summers:

Orange Basil Mojito

It is a Thai-inspired drink that gives you a boozy kick.

Ingredients:

1 cup juice of freshly squeezed orange

½ cup of thick simple syrup

10 fresh basil leaves with their stems discarded

1 cup of white rum

1 cup of club soda

Crushed ice

For garnishing, use orange slice and basil leaf

Directions:

Put the orange juice, basil leaves, and simple syrup in a medium pitcher. Use a crusher or wooden spoon to crush the leaves. Stir all the ingredients in a pitcher. Then add rum and club soda to the mixture.

The orange basil mojito is ready. Then, serve it immediately in the glasses and add crushed ice. Use orange slice and fresh basil leave for garnishing.

Watermelon Mojito

Watermelon mojito prepared with a combination of watermelon and cucumber. It is one of the delicious cocktails that are fruity yet refreshing. In addition, it uses actual fruits and vegetables, so it is a healthy drink.

Ingredients:

3-4 tablespoons of watermelon balls

1-inch slice of a cucumber

1/2 piece of lime

3/4 oz. of watermelon bar syrup

1 1/2 oz. of white rum

10 Mint leaves

1 cup of club soda

Use cucumber slice and watermelon wedge for garnishing

Directions:

Put watermelon balls, lime juice, syrup, cucumber slices, rum, and mint leaves into a shaker and blend thoroughly. Then, fill ice in a highball glass, and then pour the blended mixture into that glass.

Now lastly, add club soda to that drink. Finally, use a wedge of watermelon and a slice of cucumber to garnish that drink. Again, be careful about the intake of your beverage.

Do not get drunk; otherwise, you have to follow a proper detoxifying procedure.

Mint Mojito

The classic combination of tart lime, mint, and fizzy soda water looks pretty refreshing. This fancy drink is easy to make and one of the best ways to cool off during hot summers.

Ingredients:

Crushed ice

3 tablespoons of white rum

2 tablespoons of lime juice

2 teaspoons of granulated sugar

8 fresh mint leaves

1 cup club soda

Directions:

Fill ice in a highball glass and set it aside. Then, in a cocktail shaker, add lime juice, rum, fresh mint leaves. Lightly press the mint leaves with a muddler to release some of the liquid until fragrant.

Do not over-muddle or tear the leaves.Instead, press them till the drink becomes super fragrant. Shake to combine mixture and pour it into the already prepared glass. Pour a splash of club soda on top.

Garnish it with a mint sprig and lime slices. Be careful about your beverage intake as every person has different alcohol tolerance.

Strawberry Mojito

The strawberry mojito is quick and easy to prepare, full of natural fruit flavor, packs an adult drink punch with delicious and refreshing rum and mint.

 Ingredients:

1/4 cup of strawberry pieces

5 fresh mint leaves

1/2 lime wedge

2 oz of white rum

4 oz of club soda

1 tablespoon of sugar

For garnishing, use a strawberry piece, mint leaf, and lime slice

Directions:

Put sugar, mint leaves, and lime wedge in a cocktail shaker. Press lime wedge with a muddler and crush strawberries in that mixture. Pour rum in it. Then shake the blend vigorously.

Now fill ice in a glass and pour the preparedstrawberry mojito with the club soda. Stir the ingredients and garnish it with mint leaves, thin lime wedges, and strawberries.
