If you are planning to bring a dog in your home especially for the first time then you must do some research first about different Dog Breeds Every dog breed is different and has its own characteristics and temper. Some dog Breeds are extremely active they need a lot of playtimes and daily walk on the other side some dog breeds are not that active they are a little bit on the lazy side and don't need that much time for playing. 

Let's take an example like if you love to go for long walks in the morning and you want a companion then Labrador, golden retriever and husky are the right dog breeds for you because these dogs meant for tracking and adventures, on the other hand, if you are a lazy potato and you just want a dog in your house then you go with bullmastiff,  Pomeranian, pug and breeds like a poodle because these breeds are less active and these will be your perfect companion.

    Leashes are also very important for the dogs especially for the puppies, leashes have various uses like you can start leash training when your dog is 8 weeks old and also comes in handy while going for a walk,
    it helps to control your dog, leashed dogs cannot run freely and for puppies, it's very important because puppies play a lot and run around the house and while playing they can hurt themselves or gets hit by cars, leashing them is a good solution for sometimes.



     2. Stainless steel food and water bowls.

    Make sure you buy 2 separate bowls for Food and water. 
    This helps you to maintain hygiene and prevent diseases and infections.
    Research shows that 15% of dogs get sick because of the unhygienic routine like cleaning of the bowls or giving water and food in the same bowl, 
    make sure you had 2 bowls for your dogs to maintain hygiene and this helps the dog as well to drink and eat rapidly from different bowls. 
    Always prefer steel and little bit expensive one over the cheap and plastic bowl because plastic can easily break and some food also reacts with plastic so make sure to invest in a quality bowl.





    3. Quality dog food 

    Giving quality food to your dog is a very important part of owning a dog,
    most people think that giving quality food means, giving packed dog foods like chicken and vegetables feed.
    This packed food is not good for your dog in the long term,
    every dog owner buys the dog food when he buys a puppy and continues giving him to rest of his life,
    this is not good for your dog this can lead to several diseases in the long term.
    If you want to give your dog packed food then it's ok but you must give him homemade food also like chicken, vegetables, rice and many more.



    4. Find a good vet near you.

    Finding a good veterinarian is very important because in case of any emergency or your dog got sick then you have a veterinarian that can help you anytime.
     He should be a professional health expert and can use modern tools and knows about all the new techniques of therapies and operations.
    If your veterinarian is not that qualified and unprofessional then he can't able to help you properly.
    Make sure to choose a qualified and professional vet to ensure the healthy life of your dog.



    5. Socialise your puppy

    The socialisation of your dog is also an important part of owning a dog. Socialisation means to prepare your dog for human life, this means that your dog should not be afraid to interact with human beings.
    Socialisation also helps to create good behaviour and control their temperament if the dog is aggressive.
    Every dog owner should socialise their dog.
