Tonight was the meeting of the Framingham School Committee. Tonight also featured a lot of wind. Some of that wind came from the Framingham mayor herself.

Mayor Spicer, the ex officio school committee member, hightailed out the school committee meeting early, citing storm damage. This was a LIE.

The Mayor instead wanted to schmooze with US Congresswoman Katherine Clark and Mass State Attorney General Maura Healey in a pre-debate pre-program raising money for the Biden Harris ticket.

Whether it’s kissing the ass of a Kennedy or a Washington lawmaker, Spicer has time and time again put the love of the limelight ahead of her role of Framingham leader and role model.

Her lack of leadership and her unwillingness to enforce policies that will create a strong Framingham has led to a COVID high-risk City and a floundering business community.

Hoping Framingham attains greatness and doing the leg work that is required to make it happen are two separate things. Perhaps we should help her achieve the cushy federal level job she is dying for by freeing her schedule to gallivant with congresspeople and senators and vote her out in just eleven months.
