As long as it is required for employees and customers in essential businesses to wear masks, it is important to take it seriously. You never know who your customer is, what power they have, and if it will be submitted on social media, or worse yet, sent to us.

In business, you can be as lax as your most serious customer.

Today a person taking the masking rule seriously went to BJs and found themselves face to face with an employee who didn’t give a damn about the governor’s directive.

Our anonymous contributor tells us:

“I went to BJ’s today. The girl in the front who was stopping all customers and wiping down carts did not have her nose covered. I asked her and she said “don’t worry about it”. I found the front end manager and they went and told her. When I left she was at the receipt verification station and still with no mask over her nose.”

Our same contributor then went to Burger King… This certainly was not his day. They tell us:

“I then went to BK on Waverley. The manager was working drive-thru. He was not wearing a mask or gloves. When I pulled up to pay and get my food I saw that the 3 other employees had no gloves on. They all had masks pulled down below their chins. When they saw there was a customer they all quickly put them on. I told the manager I wanted a refund and left the food. I didn’t get a photo of it, but it seems to be the standard operating procedures when customers are not looking, only this time they got caught.”

The takeaway, in these uncertain times, follow directives to a T. As invincible as you are, it is best to assume that everyone has an underlying condition. Not everyone has an option to not go out.

Play by the rules…. otherwise you may find yourself on Framingham Unfiltered.
