Emergency Supplies Road Trip List

You’ll want to have Emergency Supplies for your road trip, whether you’re driving “over the river and through the woods” to grandmother’s house, or just an hour or two from home. See the suggestions below. You probably don’t need all of these things. (If you live in Hawaii you don’t need an ice scraper!) But check for necessities. You might also want to keep a magnetic spare key case under the car. If I missed something, let me know in “Comments.”

Just for fun, here’s “Over the River and Through the Woods…”

Like me, I bet you don’t know more than the first line of this classic holiday tune. I got curious and did a little research. Originally published as a poem in 1844 written by Lydia Maria Child, there are many versions, some up to twelve verses long. Here’s one that’s short and sweet. How about having a little “sing along” on your next holiday road trip? Depending on how well your family sings, it may make the drive seem a little faster…or not.
