I recently enjoyed participating in the Groovy Musical Challenge on Facebook. So now it only seems fair to feature 10 plays that I fondly remember.

My 10th groovy play is Tony Kushner's two-part epic, Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes, which I saw on May 15, 1993 (Millennium Approaches), and November 24, 1993 (Perestroika), in the original Broadway production starring Ron Leibman, Stephen Spinella, Kathleen Chalfant, Marcia Gay Harden, Jeffrey Wright, Ellen McLaughlin, David Marshall Grant and Joe Mantello.
