The Groovy List is watching Derek Ocampo in Season 6 of Where the Bears Are

The Groovy List is a weekly roundup of groovy gay pop culture:

1) Groovy Guy: Shelley Berman
The comedian and actor, who died today at age 92, received a 2008 Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his recurring role as Larry David's father on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm. He also won the first Grammy Award for Best Spoken Comedy Album for his 1959 album, Inside Shelley Berman. Berman was the first stand-up comedian to perform at Carnegie Hall, and he appeared on Broadway in the 1959 musical revue, The Girls Against the Boys, the 1962 musical comedy, A Family Affair, and a 1980 solo show, Insideoutsideandallaround with Shelley Berman. His film credits include The Best Man (1964), Divorce American Style (1967), Beware! The Blob (1972), Rented Lips (1988), Teen Witch (1989), Meet the Fockers (2004), The Holiday (2006) and You Don't Mess with the Zohan (2008). Below you can watch him on The Judy Garland Show (1964), The Dean Martin Show (1966) and Curb Your Enthusiasm (2007).

2) Groovy Guy: Michael E.R. Walker
The actor and dancer, who died August 27 at age 34, was best known for his performance as Ryan in the gay-themed romantic comedy, Eating Out 3: All You Can Eat. In my 2009 review of the movie, I said "I was impressed by Walker, who shows himself to be quite adept at comedy as well as possessing a killer bod" (below you can watch a few scenes from the film). Walker's other film credits include The Wishmakers (2011) and I Do (2012).

3) Groovy Sneak Peak: Will & Grace
The NBC sitcom returns on Thursday, September 28, with brand new episodes.

4) Groovy Music Video: Tom Goss's "Click"
Manila Luzon (RuPaul's Drag Race) and comedian Jimmy Fowlie (Go-Go Boy Interrupted) appear in Tom's new interactive music video, "Click", which lets you choose your own love story by clicking on different choices along the way. 5) Groovy Web Series: Where the Bears Are
In the sixth season opener of this award-winning gay comedy mystery web series, Reggie exploits his harrowing confrontation with Jeremy for the benefit of his TV show’s ratings, a nasty guest star on Law & Order: Male Rape Unit tortures Nelson with a series of mean tweets, Wood lands an audition for a major comeback role in a porn film (featuring the hunky Derek Ocampo as porn star Dom Bellucci), and Todd finds himself pitted against an old nemesis for a big promotion.
