Places you can visit Online while stuck at home

Looking to get out of the house but can’t? Are you yearning to travel but can only go to the grocery store? Fear not in this crazy time you can still explore exciting new places from the comfort of your home.

Many places for years have offered virtual tours and webcams that put you right there. Some places it feels like you could even reach out and touch them. Places like Yellowstone National Park, Aquariums and Zoos around the world. Famous Art Museums and you can even walk the Great Wall of China.

Maybe when this is all over you will find somewhere new that you want to see for yourself. Take in the sights and smells on your own in person. While you are home for the next few weeks practicing social distancing. Explore all the wonderful things this world can offer you.

ZOOs

San Diego Zoo

The San Diego Zoo is home to more than 650 species. Out of this they have over 3,500 animals for you to see and enjoy. You can watch over 10 live cams on the website (linked here).

San Antonio Zoo

National Zoo

Georgia Aquarium

Clearwater Aquarium

National Museum of Natural History

British Museum

A very unique interactive exhibit from the British Museum. Scroll through time and explore artifacts as old as 2 Million years or as recent as 2000. Click on the picture to learn more. Dali Museum

Just as amazing on Google Earth as it is in real life. Arches National Park is simply breathtaking. You will enjoy the time you spend walking around this virtual area.

It’s amazing what you can see and do with Google maps and Google Earth (with 30+ National Park Tours). You can drive around cities searching for fun and unique locations. Take walking tours of some of the most famous sites on Earth. Visiting major cities and Landmarks around the world has never been easier.
