Paulo Dybala has reiterated his desire to reunite with former Juventus teammate Paul Pogba.

The wantaway Manchester United midfielder was heavily linked with a move away, however, the coronavirus crisis is likely to prevent him from leaving this summer.

Along with Real Madrid, Juve have been linked with the World Cup winner and Dybala is keen to join up with Pogba again.

In an interview with UEFA’s website, Dybala revealed a Red Devils kit given to him by Pogba after the two clubs met in last season’s Champions League group stage.

Argentina international Dybala said: “I couldn’t overlook a shirt like this, of course.

“It’s from Manchester, from my friend Paul, whom I admire as a person even more than as a football player.

“I had the chance to share great things with him and hopefully I can repeat that someday.”

Dybala scored the winning goal that night as Juventus ran out 1-0 winners at Old Trafford.

The pair were teammates for a year before Pogba completed his then world-record £89million move to United in August 2016.

Dybala’s latest comments are hardly the first time he’s spoken of his hope to play alongside Pogba again.

In April, he said: “I hope that one day we will be able to celebrate again together.”

And last year, Dybala said: “We have remained in touch since he left.

“We’re still very close and who knows, maybe in the future we can play together again on the same team.”

United are understood to have almost signed Dybala last summer, however, if he were to go to Old Trafford then it could lead to Pogba going in the opposite direction.
