The third annual NXT TakeOver: War Games went down in Chicago last night and it’s fair to say the show set a ridiculously high bar for Survivor Series tonight.
NXT TakeOver’s have consistently been WWE’s best shows over the past five years or so and they knocked it out of the park again on Saturday night.

In the main event, The Undisputed Era battled Dominik Dijakovic, Keith Lee, captain Tommaso Ciampa and, to the surprise of everyone, Kevin Owens.
In the final moments of the match, respective team captains Adam Cole and Ciampa scaled the War Games cage.
Naturally, the Chicago crowd held their breath and what followed next was utter madness. Especially when you consider professional wrestling isn’t meant to be real!

Cole and Ciampa crashed down through tables from around 15-feet in the air. In Cole’s case, he did so blind, totally trusting Ciampa.
While it was an insane move to do and one worthy of closing a show, it’s though that neither man is seriously injured.
In fact, Cole has to wrestle again tonight as he takes on Britain’s own Pete Dunne for the NXT title.
Dunne won a number one contender’s triple-threat match on the same show.
