Enough of sukuma wiki and cabbage every other day. That’s not going to escalate your Health even a notch higher. You should switch sides and go natural for the sake of your health. Traditional vegetables are loaded with nutrients that could work wonders in the core systems of your body. Here are traditional vegetables that you should start consuming already for the sake of your health.

1. Amaranth (Terere/Lidodo)

This vegetable is Rich in proteins, with low cholesterol which helps in easing pain, reduce inflammation, chronic conditions like diabetes, heart diseases, and stroke. It contains zinc potassium, phosphorous that help in boosting energy, strong bones, and vitamins A, C, K.

2. Cowpeas (Kunde/ Likhubi)
