Thinking about success is blocking you from achieving success.
Humans are very good at Thinking themselves out of action all the time. The reason why we think ourselves out of action is because there is usually risk associated with actions.
The more you think about doing something, before you do it, the greater your chance of not following through with the action.
The mind is very tricky.
Think about the last time you skipped a gym workout; you justified it by thinking that the next time you go to the gym you will stay for double the time.
Did you? Would you ever actually do that?
It would have been more beneficial to actually stop thinking about going to the gym and start the actions to get your butt out the door to the gym.
Think less and do more.
Often, the less we think about a task and rather start acting out the task, the more likely you are to complete said task.
Stop talking yourself out of doing great things.
It sounds really stupid,but it is actually a really simple and smart solution to overcome your urge to procrastinate.
I think myself out of so much stuff because the idea of doing a million things tomorrow sounds wonderful…until tomorrow shows up…I am slowly learning to just get it done now, rather than spending one more second thinking about it.
