from the radio set.

Heads peeked out from the window.

What was the drama about?

The endless squeaking continued.

Feet stepped out and
returned with something,
saved in the nick of time,
from curious squirrels.

The papaya tree
swayed gently in the breeze,
nodding its satisfaction.
 
while down below,
sunlight made the
emerging orange patches glow.
