The  painted stripes
of  ripening fruits,

the fresh vibes of newborn green

and tiny, nodding flower heads
wanting an audience

are enough to
softly awaken,
deepen and enrich
the sense of curiosity,

in an adult,
preoccupied with getting
through the day and

in a child,
preoccupied with
homework and tests.
