The view right before me...
spiralling smoke
with the greenery gone,
signs of destruction
stretching for miles,
brings tears to my eyes.
Stunned, I am unable to move.
I wish I could
shift elsewhere.

My friend who is a busy tourist,
has suggested what he calls...
a place 'just right' and
suited to my tastes.

It looks perfect, mystical, magical,
and untouched too

but will it last?
