The Army of Yahweh is Not A Gaggle

Mobilizing the Army of Yahweh

How can you mobilize the Army to go when you never have mustered at base? You have no army which is equipped, disciplined or trained. You are sending civilians to their destruction. Our discipleship programs don’t build disciples. The demands of Yeshua upon a disciple are more rigorous than Special Forces training. Most wash out. This is why “Many are called but few are chosen.”

There is a huge difference in discipleship and training someone how to conform to your ministry practices or doctrines. The commission is to make disciples of Him, not me. Panty-waist leaders make panty-waist disciples.

The army of Yahweh is not near as big as conferences and programs would lead one to believe. There are not near as many apostles and prophets as advertised. Indeed, most claiming these titles are not. Where is the Army? You will find the members in the throes of preparation with David in the cave of Adullam; with Joseph in the pit or prison house; with Moshe (Moses) on the backside of the desert; or with Elijah beside the brook. It is the saint quietly working night and day to provide. It is the little old lady on a pension who pours herself out in prayer behind closed doors. It is the believer who has backslid a dozen times only to discover the glorious grace of Christ. They willingly serve others in love. They are clothed in meekness and humility. Their faith has been tried in the furnace of life.

Titles and gifts do not make an army. Falling down and soaking on the floor is not the power of the Holy Ghost. Some say they have the Holy Ghost because they pray in tongues. He will baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire. I say, “Show me you ashes.”

Many people are consumed with concerns about their ministry gift and calling. The obsession is self-serving. It is an attempt to derive self-esteem and identity from ministry. This concept of “ministry” actually sabotages real ministry while advancing self-importance. This fixation on ministry distracts us from the real call which is “take up you cross and follow Me.” We are called to lay self down at the cross not exalt self in ministry. Many of us are like the apostles who wanted to sit on thrones with Yeshua, not realizing His cross precedes His throne.

The uncrucified self with ministry gifts is an anti-Christ. Insult you by questioning your gifting or calling and you react like a rebellious devil. You claim you will embrace persecution and you can’t even handle godly correction. Why? Because you did not pursue humility. You did not pursue the cross. You are in the crucible. Let all of the dross come to the surface and be removed. The fire only burns the flesh. Once the flesh is sufficiently crucified you will not longer feel the pain of the flame. Welcome to the real discipleship of the kingdom.

Those marked by the cross cannot be bought, sold, controlled or cajoled. They follow the Voice of the King. They submit willingly to one another in love. They seek no glory but His. There is fire in their eyes and words. There is power in their hands. The hordes of hell tremble before them. Demons see the Son of God when they look at these disciples. Angels march in awe with them.

Gideon’s army was winnowed down to 300. Are you in? If so, prepare to die at the cross.
