Whether you're new to blogging or are just starting up, here some step by step guide to successful blogging:

1.  READ UP -

     Before you start typing away on your laptop, phone or any other device you use or intend to use to write and publish, pls read up. The first thing that usually comes to mind when blogging is mentioned is to get quality content, publish, share, Bla Bla bla but from experience, the wisest thing to do is to read as many articles or books that you can lay your hand about blogging. Trust me darling, there's a truckload of information which you need to garner and this was where I made my first mistake. I started with blogger blog so I just signed up, chose a custom template, did an amazing designing job there (......or so I thought 😩), headed straight to the editor, typed all I could think of at that time and you needed to have seen the euphoria of excitement that swept through my face as I hit the publish button. I monitored for days and weeks to see engagements and even endorsements (okay....I know you just laughed at me.....)  but nothing happened. Luckily for me, I stumbled on some articles on Facebook and so my search for knowledge about blogging began.

There's so much to read: SEOs, Keywords tagging, metatags, labeling, back links, inbound links, outbound links, spamming, social media, engagements, analytics, domains, sub domains, root domains and on and on and on. So my darling, READ UP.

2.  APPLY WHAT YOU'VE LEARNT/DISCOVERED -

After going through all those articles from google or any place else, please be careful to put every information gathered to practice because you'll be doing yourself serious harm if you don't. Take my word for it: It won't be easy and you might not see the results as quickly as you want it but it'll be worth the wait (if you're doing the right things). Try your hands on every trick and tip you can find because as they say "you never know where redemption will come from.

No man.....I mean, no single individual is an island or an embodiment of everything so you'll need to 'find other bloggers whether they're in your niche or not'. There are so many bloggers out there. The those who have been in the blogosphere for years or are relatively new. Befriend them (birds of a feather...........), build a network of not just bloggers but influencers, brands, people in general. Come out of your space and speak to people. That's the only way you'll grow in this thing called blogging.

Like I said earlier, it's not going to as easy as you anticipated or planned it to be but with constant practice of acquired knowledge and every other thing that goes with being an influencer, in no time, you'd become an authority in your niche and people from all works of life would want to associate or do business with you. Ensure you monitor and measure up to technological and blogging trends too so that you don't get left behind.
