Vanilla Sponge Cup Cake Recipe




  • 8 eggs
  • 4 Teaspoon Vanilla essence
  • 55g butter
  • 80ml full fat or low fat milk
  • 150g sugar
  • 200g self raising flour.

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

2. Beat the eggs yolks and the sugar until smooth, pale in colour (add some vanilla essence).

3. Place the butter and milk in a small bowl and heat it in the microwave until melted.

4. beat the egg whites until soft peek forms. 

5. Combine the milk & butter mixer with the egg yolk & sugar mixer and slowly add the flour. after flour gets incorporates add the egg white little by little.
6. Place this into a cupcake pan and bake for 15-20 minutes.

Note: This recipe will make around 20-24 normal size cupcakes.
